In an attempt to address many of the different projects and needs around Bethany, the Deacons have begun a campaign to handle these projects entitled Mission 29:11. It is based upon Jeremiah 29:11. Mission 29:11 is an endeavor to enhance our worship and discipleship experience by updating and improving the resources that God has entrusted to us. Our building, which is over 50 years old, is our most used resource in reaching, teaching, feeding and equipping people. Mission 29:11 is an attempt to collect additional funds to support the improvement and enhancement of the facilities and ministries of Bethany. All funds received would be for this purpose. The congregation approved a deacon proposal to hire an architect to provide Bethany with drawings and plans for adding an elevator and other upgrades.
