In an attempt to address many of the different projects and needs around Bethany, the Deacons have begun a campaign to handle these projects entitled Mission 29:11. It is based upon Jeremiah 29:11. Mission 29:11 is an endeavor to enhance our worship and discipleship experience by updating and improving the resources that God has entrusted to us.  Our building, which is over 50 years old, is our most used resource in reaching, teaching, feeding and equipping people.  Mission 29:11 is an attempt to collect additional funds to support the improvement and enhancement of the facilities and ministries of Bethany.  All funds received would be for this purpose.  Currently the Leadership Team is proposing to hire an architect to provide Bethany with drawings and plans for adding an elevator and other upgrades.  To give to Mission 29:11, just click here or use an envelope in the church lobby.

    • The parking lot was patched some rough areas, cracks were tarred, and then the entire surface was sealed with fresh parking lines.

    • The Kids Connection check in area was updated with fresh wall graphics and given a new check in desk.

    • What was the old library right off the lobby and near the main entrance is being transformed into a dedicated Common Grounds area, which will allow for better flow of people and create a space to build relationships.

    • A dedicated newborn nursery remodel is just about finished and hopefully will be ready for Easter Sunday 2024.

    • Hire an architect to explore what installing an elevator could do to make our entire building fully accessible, as well as move and remodel the bathrooms in the lower level.
