Serving At Bethany

Every follower of Jesus experiences a moment when they are saved by Him. At that point, we are called to serve. In fact, God is worshipped when we serve Him and others, both inside and outside the church. This posture of service not only brings personal fulfillment, but it encourages others and brings glory to God. (1 Peter 4:10-11). Check out some of the possibilities below.

    About “Hospitality”

People stay at churches for a variety reasons: they like the preaching, they like what’s offered for kids, they like the music, etc. But the best research shows that everyone who stays at a church has the same two things in common: 1) they came back for a second visit because of the friendliness of they experienced the first time; 2) they formed 7 new relationships in the first 6 months. One word sums up both of those things—hospitality. The Gospels means that God moved heaven and earth to build a relationship with us. We want to do the same for others!
