MS/HS Souled Out Wednesday Nights

(September to May)

There is no other place that Middle School and High School students should be every Wednesday night over this coming school year because that’s when Souled Out is happening! And this year, both groups will have their own separate teaching and small group time each week. It will be an opportunity to build relationships with each other and with the God who not only made us but loves us so much! It will also be a place for friends to come and explore what life can be like when we live it the way our Creator has told us. Each night can have some crazy games, maybe some food, and always has a time where we bring the things we wonder about, struggle with, and need to learn more about to the God who is writing our story with each passing day. And yes, there will be plenty of fun games cap the night off. Don’t miss a single week! It all starts on September 11 with dinner at 6:15pm with our time together right after at 7pm. Don’t miss a single week!

Souled Out Texting List for Middle & High School Groups

Just simply text "@so-hs" to the number 81010 to get on the SR HI list or you can click here.  If you want to get on the JR HI list, text "@so-ms" to the same number 81010 or click on this link.  It's just that easy to stay in touch with the late breaking news and youth events at Bethany.

Sunday Morning TEEN Growth Group

Our middle & high school students will be digging into the 2nd half of the book of Revelation. We will do this Bible study in an “inductive” style, that is, we are going to first observe what it says, then interpret what it means, and then apply it to our lives. And even if a student haven’t been a part of the past studies, it will still be meaningful and impactful in their relationship with Jesus. It all happens every Sunday morning at 9:45am in the Teen Room.

MS/HS Souled Out Christmas Party

Christmas is always worth celebrating, especially together as a youth group. And so on Wednesday, December 18, we will renew some Christmas traditions, eat some food, and have a great time together. Here’s what you need to do: first, dress up all Christmasy (wear green, red, etc … you get the idea). Second, bring a white elephant gift (something that you already own that you no longer need that someone else could possibly use). Third, come ready to have some fun. The night is completely FREE!

HS New Year’s Eve All Dayer

This is a high school only event and this year it is an All Dayer. The event starts on Tuesday afternoon at 2pm and goes till 12:30am after the ball drop. It includes a pizza dinner, snacks, Mike’s messy games, an offsite activity, Capture the Flag, gym games, and a big screen movie. Cost is just $12 and you can signup and pay online, or by turning in your money to Robyn Miller no later than Sunday December 29.

MS Capture The Flag

If you are a middle school student, you don’t want to miss this January 11 event! We take the entire church building and divide it into two sides and put a team on each side. We put a “jail” in the middle and we play capture the flag in the dark. The event is free for you and any friends that you want to bring. No signup required. It all starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm. See you there!

MS & HS Students Going To Barakel

I know this might feel like it’s a long way off, but our middle school and high school students are headed back to Camp Barakel, but this year on their own weekends!. The middle schoolers will be going on February 14-16, 2025 while the high schoolers will go on February 21-23. Think broom hockey, tubing (with a tow rope!), great food, ice skating, cross country skiing, all you can drink hot chocolate, and so much more! Register and pay your $30 non-refundable deposit online or thru the Church Center app, or turn it in to Robyn Miller. For middle school, the last date you can sign up is Feb 2. High school is one week later on Feb 9. All the remaining money is due on the Wednesday night before we leave for each weekend. You can download an information flyer, a Barakel waiver forms and an annual release forms right here or grab a hard copy at the Welcome Center or in the teen room lobby area. Your parents can also sign you up thru the Church Center app. Contact Pastor Mike if you have any questions as well.
